  • To reserve a spot in camp, tuition is required in full.
  • Cancellations will be accepted up to 14 days before camp begins, with a $50 cancellation fee. All cancellation requests need to be submitted in writing by emailing dawatkins@radford.edu Registration and processing fees from ARMS (our online registration partner) will NOT be refunded.
  • There is no refund with requests made less than 14 days before camp.
  • ***If a camper is not behaving in accordance with camp safety, policies and expectations, the camper may be dismissed from the remainder of the session(s) without refund. 
  • Campers who fail to appear will not receive refunds.
  • Campers who depart camp after registration for any reason will not receive refunds.
  • All camp expenses will be closed 30 days following camp. No credits or refunds will be issued after this date.

A: ALL Camps – Yes, Radford Men’s Basketball coaches and players will be at camp to coach you and cheer you on each day!

Q: ALL Camps – Are walk-up registrations available for the day of the camps?

A: ALL Camps – Walk-up registrations will be available for each camp, however, it's based on availability. We have a capacity limit on the participants for each of our camps, so we recommend you register online before the camp is deemed "sold out."

Q: Day Camp – How can I sign up/register my child for camp?

A: Day Camp – You should register your child for camp here on this website. You will receive an email confirmation once registered.

Q: Day Camp – Can I register for camp by mail?

A: Day Camp – Yes, cash/checks with the completed registration form can be mailed to Zach Chu Basketball Camps, PO Box 6913, Radford, VA 24142. You will receive an email confirmation once registered.

Q: Day Camp – Are discounts available?

A: Day Camp – We offer a faculty/staff discount and a discount for signing up siblings. Discounts cannot be combined. Please email dawatkins@radford.edu for more information on the discounts.

Q: Day Camp – Are walk-up registrations available the day that camp begins?

A: Day Camp – Walk-up registrations will be available for each camp, however, it's based on availability. We have a capacity limit on the participants for each of our camps, so we recommend you register online before the camp is deemed "sold out."

Q: Day Camp – What time can my camper check-in & what time can I drop my child off?

A: Day Camp – Doors will open for registration at 8am on Monday, June 12th. Once registered the camper can store their belongings then free shoot until camp begins at 9am. Each day after campers can be dropped off as early as 8am then free shoot on the baskets until the camp begins at approximately at 9am each day.

Q: Day Camp – What time does my child need to be picked up?

A: Day Camp – Camp will conclude each day around 4pm. However, the child can free shoot and we will watch over them until 5pm each day.

Q: Day Camp – What is the check-in/check-out process?

A: Day Camp – To ensure the safety of all campers, we ask that a parent/guardian come inside to sign their camper/s in and out of camp each day.

Q: Day Camp – What if my child needs to leave camp early?

A: Day Camp – All campers are expected to stay the duration of camp. However, we understand situations may arise so please communicate with a camp staffer sooner than later to make arrangements.

Q: Day Camp – What kind of medical care will be available?

A: Day Camp – Certified athletic trainers will be on site for the duration of camp. If medication needs to be given or there is a special circumstance our medical staff needs to be aware of, please inform our camp staff during check-in on the first day of camp, June 12.

Q: Day Camp – Will drinks be provided?

A: Day Camp – Water will be provided at no cost. Gatorade will be available at the concession stand for purchase each day.

Q: Day Camp – Will lunch be provided?

A: Day Camp – Lunch will not be provided, however, snacks and pizza will be available for purchase through the camp bank at the concession stand all day/each day.

Q: Day Camp – What is the camp bank?

A: Day Camp – Parents/Guardians/Campers can put money into their camper's "bank" at the beginning of camp each day so the camper does not have to carry around any funds. For ex. a parent can put $100 in their camper's bank on Monday during camp registration. Throughout camp, whenever the camper wants a snack, drink or to purchase lunch, the concession worker will deduct the purchase from their camp bank. If there is a positive balance in the campers bank at the end of camp, Parents/Guardians/Campers can receive a refund by going to the concession stand.

Q: Day Camp – Can my child bring their own lunch/snacks?

A: Day Camp – Yes, campers are welcome to bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks in a lunch box or bag. Please note Zach Chu Basketball camps is not responsible for lost items.

A: Day Camp – Campers can store their belongings in the bleachers.

A: Day Camp – Campers should be dressed in a t-shirt, shorts/pants, and sneakers.
